\u9488\u5bf9 AD \u7684\u5929\u7136\u4ea7\u7269\u7814\u7a76\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a\u84ec\u52c3\u53d1\u5c55\u7684\u9886\u57df\uff0c\u901a\u5e38\u501f\u9274\u4f20\u7edf\u533b\u5b66\u4f53\u7cfb\u3002\u867d\u7136\u76ee\u524d\u5c1a\u65e0\u4efb\u4f55\u8349\u836f\u83b7\u5f97 FDA \u6279\u51c6\u7528\u4e8e\u6cbb\u7597\u6216\u9884\u9632 AD\uff0c\u4f46\u4e00\u4e9b\u690d\u7269\u6765\u6e90\u7684\u5316\u5408\u7269\u5728\u4e34\u5e8a\u524d\u7814\u7a76\u548c\u5c0f\u89c4\u6a21\u4eba\u4f53\u7814\u7a76\u4e2d\u663e\u793a\u51fa\u826f\u597d\u7684\u524d\u666f\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e3b\u8981\u7814\u7a76\u9886\u57df\u5305\u62ec\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>\u4e59\u9170\u80c6\u78b1\u916f\u9176 (AChE) \u6291\u5236\uff1a\u8bb8\u591a\u6709\u524d\u666f\u7684\u8349\u836f\u542b\u6709\u80fd\u591f\u6291\u5236 AChE \u7684\u5316\u5408\u7269\u3002AChE \u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u5206\u89e3\u795e\u7ecf\u9012\u8d28\u4e59\u9170\u80c6\u78b1\u7684\u9176\uff0c\u800c\u4e59\u9170\u80c6\u78b1\u5bf9\u8bb0\u5fc6\u548c\u8ba4\u77e5\u529f\u80fd\u81f3\u5173\u91cd\u8981\u3002\u8fd9\u4e0e\u4e00\u4e9b\u7ecfFDA\u6279\u51c6\u7684\u963f\u5c14\u8328\u6d77\u9ed8\u75c5\u5904\u65b9\u836f\u7684\u4f5c\u7528\u673a\u5236\u7c7b\u4f3c\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u4ece\u6c34\u4ed9\u82b1\u7403\u830e\u4e2d\u63d0\u53d6\u7684\u52a0\u5170\u4ed6\u654f\u3002 \u6709\u524d\u666f\u7684\u8349\u836f\u5019\u9009\u836f\u7269 \u76ee\u524d\u6b63\u5728\u7814\u7a76\u51e0\u79cd\u8349\u836f\u548c\u5929\u7136\u5316\u5408\u7269\u5728\u63a7\u5236\u963f\u5c14\u8328\u6d77\u9ed8\u75c5\u75c7\u72b6\u548c\u5ef6\u7f13\u75be\u75c5\u8fdb\u5c55\u65b9\u9762\u7684\u6f5c\u529b\uff1a<\/p>\n<p>\u94f6\u674f\uff1a\u56e0\u5176\u589e\u5f3a\u8840\u6db2\u6d41\u52a8\u548c\u4e3a\u5927\u8111\u63d0\u4f9b\u6297\u6c27\u5316\u4fdd\u62a4\u7684\u80fd\u529b\u800c\u5f97\u5230\u5e7f\u6cdb\u7814\u7a76\u3002\u5927\u89c4\u6a21\u4e34\u5e8a\u8bd5\u9a8c\uff0c\u4f8b\u5982\u201c\u94f6\u674f\u8bb0\u5fc6\u8bc4\u4f30\uff08GEM\uff09\u7814\u7a76\u201d\uff0c\u5728\u9884\u9632\u6216\u5ef6\u7f13\u963f\u5c14\u8328\u6d77\u9ed8\u75c5\u65b9\u9762\u53d6\u5f97\u4e86\u559c\u5fe7\u53c2\u534a\u7684\u7ed3\u679c\uff0c\u4f46\u4e00\u4e9b\u8f83\u5c0f\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u8868\u660e\uff0c\u94f6\u674f\u5728\u63a7\u5236\u73b0\u6709\u75c7\u72b6\u65b9\u9762\u6709\u4e00\u5b9a\u76ca\u5904\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u77f3\u6749\u78b1\u7532\uff1a\u4e00\u79cd\u4ece\u77f3\u6749\uff08Huperzia serrata\uff09\u4e2d\u63d0\u53d6\u7684\u751f\u7269\u78b1\uff0c\u5c5e\u4e8e\u4e59\u9170\u80c6\u78b1\u916f\u9176\u6291\u5236\u5242\uff0c\u5e38\u4f5c\u4e3a\u975e\u5904\u65b9\u4fdd\u5065\u54c1\u4f7f\u7528\u3002\u4e00\u4e9b\u7814\u7a76\u8868\u660e\u5176\u6709\u6548\uff0c\u4f46\u7f8e\u56fd\u7684\u5927\u578b\u4e34\u5e8a\u8bd5\u9a8c\u5e76\u672a\u53d1\u73b0\u5176\u7597\u6548\u663e\u8457\u4f18\u4e8e\u5b89\u6170\u5242\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u59dc\u9ec4\u7d20\uff1a\u59dc\u9ec4\uff08Curcuma \u751f\u7269\u5229\u7528\u5ea6\uff1a\u8bb8\u591a\u690d\u7269\u6765\u6e90\u7684\u5316\u5408\u7269\u96be\u4ee5\u7a7f\u8fc7\u8840\u8111\u5c4f\u969c\uff08BBB\uff09\u8fbe\u5230\u8111\u5185\u6cbb\u7597\u6d53\u5ea6\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u4e34\u5e8a\u9a8c\u8bc1\uff1a\u9700\u8981\u8fdb\u884c\u4e25\u683c\u3001\u5927\u89c4\u6a21\u548c\u957f\u671f\u7684\u4e34\u5e8a\u8bd5\u9a8c\uff0c\u4ee5\u6ee1\u8db3\u76d1\u7ba1\u8981\u6c42\uff08\u4f8b\u5982\u7f8e\u56fd\u98df\u54c1\u836f\u54c1\u76d1\u7763\u7ba1\u7406\u5c40 (FDA) \u7684\u8981\u6c42\uff09\uff0c\u4ece\u800c\u786e\u8ba4\u5176\u7597\u6548\u548c\u5b89\u5168\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n<p>\u836f\u7269\u76f8\u4e92\u4f5c\u7528\uff1a\u8349\u836f\u8865\u5145\u5242\u53ef\u80fd\u4e0e\u5904\u65b9\u836f\u53d1\u751f\u76f8\u4e92\u4f5c\u7528\uff0c\u8fd9\u7ed9\u901a\u5e38\u670d\u7528\u591a\u79cd\u836f\u7269\u7684\u60a3\u8005\u5e26\u6765\u5b89\u5168\u9690\u60a3\u3002 into natural products for AD is a growing field, often drawing on traditional medicine systems. While no herbal drugs are currently approved by the <span data-sfc-cp=\"\" data-wiz-uids=\"JTO2Qe_o\" data-processed=\"true\">FDA<\/span>\u00a0for the treatment or prevention of AD, several plant-derived compounds show promise in preclinical and small-scale human studies.<span data-animation-atomic=\"\" data-wiz-attrbind=\"class=JTO2Qe_p\/TKHnVd\" data-processed=\"true\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" data-processed=\"true\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Key areas of research focus on:<\/p>\n<p><strong data-processed=\"true\">Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibition:<\/strong>\u00a0Many promising herbs contain compounds that inhibit AChE, an enzyme that breaks down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, which is crucial for memory and cognitive function. This project supports the Center of Excellence in Maternal and Infant Precision Pharmacology, where Dr. Tsunoda and her team are leading research to determine whether antibiotic use during breastfeeding alters the infant&#8217;s microbiome. This question has significant implications for children&#8217;s long-term health.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u2022 Develop new drugs for the treatment of Alzheimer&#8217;s disease and related diseases<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Dr. Conor Caffrey, a professor of pharmacy, was the principal investigator of a project funded by the National Institute on Aging aimed at developing new therapies for Alzheimer&#8217;s disease and other tau protein-related neurodegenerative diseases. Following the unfortunate passing of Dr. Carlo Bellatore, the project&#8217;s principal investigator and a professor of pharmacy, Dr. Caffrey and his team are continuing their research, exploring a novel compound called CNDR-51997, which can stabilize the brain&#8217;s microtubule system\u2014a key structure for maintaining healthy neuronal function. With federal government support, the team is working to advance this compound into human clinical trials.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u2022 Regeneration after myocardial injury<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sylvia Evans, a professor of pharmacy, is leading this project, funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, which focuses on the regeneration of damaged heart muscle. Unlike fish or amphibians, the human heart cannot naturally replace lost muscle cells, which is why heart failure remains the leading cause of death worldwide. Evans&#8217; research aims to identify the genetic and metabolic &#8220;barriers&#8221; that prevent human heart muscle cell division and to design strategies to overcome these barriers. Her long-term goal is to pave the way for regenerative therapies that could one day enable damaged hearts to repair themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u2022 Construct the world&#8217;s largest microbiome chemical library<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\" style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Pharmacy professor Pieter Dorrenstein has received funding from the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Diseases to build the largest reference library of microbiome-derived chemicals ever created\u2014containing up to five million molecules. The microbes in our gut produce countless chemicals that affect human health, but most of them remain undiscovered. Dorrenstein&#8217;s team will use an innovative &#8220;reverse metabolomics&#8221; approach to link these chemicals to food, disease, and health outcomes. The team has already discovered a new bile acid molecule associated with Crohn&#8217;s disease.
