史无前例毒品大案：33吨毒品卸到圣地亚哥码头（图频）

周日圣地亚哥港口出现惊人的一幕：停靠的美国海岸警卫舰上堆放着一包包各类毒品，这是海警从4月到7月间，在中南美洲和墨西哥太平洋海岸线肃毒的成果。武装人员正出动起重机将毒品搬下警卫舰，毒品如一座座小山般堆满了码头。

美国圣地亚哥海岸警卫队根据情报，在为期四个月的行动中在东太平洋海面总共截获30艘运毒船只，破获美国史上最大毒品走私案，起获的可卡因和海洛因毒品约33吨重，总市值超过10亿美元。

美国海岸警卫队指挥官 Paul Zukunft 向新闻界宣布：“ 你们今天看到的超过32吨的纯冰、未切开的可卡因，相信这是美国历史上最大宗的毒品案。”

Zukunft 还透露了在过去的十个月中，海岸警卫队已查获约215起毒品走私案，其中将近一半以上案件为走私贩毒集团利用未成年儿童单独携带毒品闯关，他们多来自中美洲和南美洲国家。
