弘扬体育精神 迎接2028洛杉矶奥运会热身活动开启(多图)

美国华人体育家协会协同清华大学南加州校友会,北京大学南加州校友会,南加州中华科工学会,北京大学博雅基金会等团体于美西时间2022年12月20日,在南加州洛杉矶Inglewood市的SoFi体育场(SoFi Stadium)联合举行了主题为 “弘扬体育精神,开启2028 – 迎接2028洛杉矶奥运会” 的热身活动。

美国华人体育家协会奥运选手代表:前中国女排奥运选手李月明,奥运3米跳台跳水铜牌获得者李德亮,奥运体操银牌获得者国林耀,前美国大学生体育协会锦标赛(NCAA)高台跳水冠军倪辰;加州大学伯克利分校女排队员Ashley Li,美国华人体育家协会创会会长高胜,高级顾问战颖博士;著名数学家、UCSB数学系教授张益唐博士和夫人孙雅玲女士,博雅基金会执行会长、CSUF地理与环境系教授徐蕾,CSUF艺术系教授王琛,博雅基金会成员Stephanie Wang;南加州中华科工学会现任会长郭辰曦,理事、JPL首席科学家蒋红涛,清华大学南加州校友会现任会长殷明松,理事长吳国華,秘书长黄唯,体育副会长王炜,网球队队长万军;北京大学南加州校友会现任会长陈泳,龙舟俱乐部队长徐媛,长跑俱乐部队长王兴,长跑俱乐部庞芳等社区代表共襄盛举,参加了当天 “《弘扬体育精神,开启2028》迎接2028洛杉矶奥运会” 的热身活动。

本次活动是美国华人体育家协会举办的迎奥运系列活动第二站的开启篇,之后将会持续邀请更多优秀团体加入到系列活动中来,为推广体育运动和传播奥运精神尽一份绵薄之力。

SoFi体育馆将作为2028年奥运会开幕式和闭幕式主办会场,在此举办这次活动意义非凡。SoFi体育场的代表在本次活动开始后作精彩讲解,让大家充分了解 SoFi体育场的背景以及场馆设计建设过程;同时有幸聆听到关于洛杉矶两支球队的介绍,然后大家深度参观了50码宽敞的贵宾间,Kinsey 黑人艺术和历史收藏馆,Ram和Charger的球员更衣间,贵宾室以及媒体发布会室。

活动入场仪式开始,奥运选手李月明手举84年洛杉矶奥运火炬,与奥运奖牌获得者李德亮、国林耀并排出场,美国华人体育家协会,北京大学南加州校友会,清华大学南加州校友会,南加州中华科工学会,北京大学博雅基金会等团体各自伴会旗出场。之后,大家庄严的进行了火炬传递仪式,从老年,到中年,到少年接传,寓意着奥运之火在世代相传,奥运精神生生不息。

活动过程自助午餐期间,大家就弘扬体育精神,以体育促进中美团结与和平,畅想人类和平发展展开了积极热烈的交流。

本次活动由美国华人体育家协会发起,协会高级顾问战颖博士总策划。

中国大剧院首席摄影师、洛杉矶NBA媒体著名摄影师,北京大学校友王小京先生受邀为本次活动摄影,拍下不少精彩的瞬间。

The Spirit of Sportsmanship: Pre-2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games Celebration at Sofi Stadium

On December 20, 2022, the American Chinese Athlete Association, partnered with Tsinghua University Alumni Association of Southern California, Peking University Alumni Association of Southern California, Chinese-American Engineers and Scientists Association of Southern California, and Boya Foundation, hold an event centered on promoting and celebrating the indomitable spirit of sportsmanship in anticipation of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games at Sofi Stadium. Being the venue for the opening and closing ceremony of the 2028 Olympic Games, Sofi Stadium plays a significant role in the major sports event and thereby is the prime and ideal location for an event focused on spreading the sportsmanship spirit. This event serves to be the opening of the series of events organized by American Chinese Athlete Association, which pursues inviting more outstanding individuals to join in promoting and celebrating the indomitable spirit of sportsmanship. Mr. Dakota, Mr. Sanchez, and Miss. London led the tout at Sofi Stadium, allowing everyone to fully understand the detailed background of the stadium, including the beautiful story behind its intricate design and construction. Attendees also had the pleasure of listening to the introduction of the two Los Angeles teams and the honor of visiting the 50-yard VIP room, the Kinsey Black Art and History Collection, the Ram and Chargers Locker Rooms, the VIP rooms, and the Media Conference Rooms. During a delicious buffet lunch, participants engaged in fruitful exchanges on promoting the spirit of sportsmanship, utilizing sports as a vehicle to spread unity and peace between the United States and China, and envisioning the peaceful development of mankind. To start off the event, Olympian Li Yueming raised the torch of the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games alongside Olympic medalists Li Deliang and Guo Linyao. The American Chinese Athlete Association, Tsinghua University Alumni Association of Southern California, Peking University Alumni Association of Southern California, Chinese-American Engineers and Scientists Association of Southern California (CAESASC), and Boya Foundation accompanied them, raising flags. Following this, attendees engaged in a torch relay ceremony, proceeding from the elderly and middle-aged to the younger generation, symbolizing the endless and perpetual fire of the Olympic Games, traversing time itself. The event was initiated by The American Chinese Athlete Association and was planned by Dr. Ying Zhan, senior advisor of the association.

The American Chinese Athlete Association is represented by former Chinese Olympic Women Volleyball Player Li Yueming, Olympic Bronze 3m Springboard Diving Li Deliang, Olympic Silver Gymnastics Guo Linyao, National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) high platform diving champion Ni Chen, University of California Berkeley Volleyball player Ashley Li, founding President of the association Gao Sheng, and senior advisor Dr. Ying Zhan. Participants from Boya Foundation include MacArthur Award winner, Professor of Mathematics at University of California Santa Barbara, Dr. Yitang Zhang, and his wife Helen, Executive President of Boya Foundation and Professor of Geography & the Environment at California State University Fullerton, Dr. Lei Xu, Professor of Arts at California State University Fullerton, Dr. Chen Wang, and Stephanie Wang. Attendees from CAESASC include its President Chenxi Guo, as well as Director of CAESASC and Principal Scientist at Jet Propulsion Laboratory Jonathan Jiang. Participants from Tsinghua University Alumni Association of Southern California include President Mingsong Yin, Chairman Guohua Wu, Secretary Wei Huang, Vice President Wei Wang, and Tennis Team Captain Jun Wan. Participants from Peking University Alumni Association of Southern California include President Yong Chen, Dragon Boat Team Captain Yuan Xu, Running Club Team Captain Xing Wang and member Fang Pang.

To this event was also spcially invited Mr. Xiaojing Wang, an alumnus of Peking University, chief photographer of the China Grand Theater, and Los Angles NBA media photographer. The second generation Jiahao Chen, Ge Zhan, Wanqin Guo, and Wanyue Guo, as well as friends Jinzhao Yang and Ping Li also participated together.
